SANAMI Roots. KANETAKA smiths in SURUGA in GEN-ROKU 1688,

to KAN-BUN 1661 time.
KANETAKA SUGATA is large bodied, elongated BOSHI. Imposing.
KO-ITAME with JI-NIE and standing SHIRAKE-UTSURI.
NIOI-DEKI and KO-NIE SUGUHA with GUNOME-MIDARE of KO-MIDARE
and KO-CHOJI-MIDARE BA where SUNAGASHI develops in the mid.

TERUKADO
Note: ZENJO Temple are one of the two old KOTO Schools that came
from YAMATO to found MINO. Kaneuji brought SHIZU through Soshu
and then to Naoe-Mura town in the mountains. Kaneyoshi joined
bringing his ZENJO Temple style.


ZENJO has the oldest religious history and is therefore the most
revered.
Kaneyoshi grandson, TERUKADO was the head of the School,
the longest of all the various MINO sword schools, from the
KAN-BUN time.

KANEKADO becomes TERUKADO from MANJI 1658. Received TAMBA DAIJO toward
MAN-JI 2, 1659, however we see a WAKIZASHI dedicated at the KASUGA JINJA Shrine
signed TAMBA-no-KAMI TERUKADO and dated, MAN-JI 3, 1660, 9th month. 
TAMBA-no-KAMI TERUKADO took-over the ZENJO Sword School in MINO when then
School headman, UJIFUSA left to bring ZENJO-style to TOKUGAWA YOSHINAO's
NAGOYA Castle,  OWARI Province.  TERUKADO School advances to ISE KUWANA
(MURAMASA fame) and later, EDO, making KUWANA-style. 

ZENJO School SUGU HOTSURE KO-NIE KO-GUNOME and SOSHU style ARA-NIE
exemplifying. HAKO O-GUNOME MIDARE BA where occasionally O-MIDARE falls to
a SUGU YAKIDASHI.  KO-ITAME with veil of JI-NIE and sweeping MASAME along the
SHINOGI-JI.

KANETANI(1) KEI-CHO: TANI form: TO "cave". SEKI ZENJO Group. Descended from
       ZENJO line starting in KAN-SHO 1460. There are five KANETANI specializing in
       KOGATANA dagger and short sword making, in the ZENJO tradition, up to KYOHO
       1716 time.

       the KEI-CHO. Same group sharing between OWARI and MINO. Travels and works from
       INUYAMA Castle in OWARI during the time TOKUGAWA YOSHINAO was working at
       NAGOYA.

HIRA-TSUKURI, shallow IHORI-MUNE, MU-SORI.
Its shallow MUNE drops gently to the Saki in a simple portrait of SA.
Smooth ITAME HADA creates the JI, where a thin CHU-SUGUHA
walks the sword in NIOI and distinct KO-NIE. KO-NIE are spilled
slightly
HAKIKAKE KO-MARU BOSHI, resolves in falling KAERI.
Smooth texture NAKAGO delivers a flat face for the large characters
of his proud MEI: JUMYO
