Uda Kunifusa
Nagasa: 2 Shaku 3 Sun 7 Bu 5 Rin (71.9cm)
Sori: 8 Bu (2.4cm)
Moto-haba: 9 Bu 5 Rin (2.87cm)
Saki-haba: 7 Bu 5.9 Rin (2.3cm)
Kissaki-naga: 1 Sun 3 Bu 2 Rin (4cm)
Nakago: 7 Sun 1 Bu 2.7 Rin (21.6cm)


Shinogi-tsukuri, Ihori-mune, deeply curved to an elongated, strong Chu-Kissaki. There is Bo-Hi on Tachi-Ura and NibiHi on Omote - running the length.
Running Itame and Masame mixed with Mokume and O-Hada in the lower. Much JiNIe.
Gunome-Midare Ba sits in a Notare line of Mura and Ara-Nie. Kinsuji runs while Sunagashi pulls Nijuba into figures.
Midare-Komi Hakikake Boshi, to small Kaeri.
Suriage nakago has four Mekugi-ana, two at the bottom. Signed Tachi-Mei next to the Mune:

KUNIMITSU(2) KO-AN (f: KUNIMITSU 1): A mainstay at TONAMI-GORI in
        MIKKAICHI, TOYAMA. Considered an equal status with his
        father, he made elongated or KO-KISSAKI, gracefully 
        curved TACHI that may appear YAMASHIRO like, although 
        steel color has shown the YAMATO roots. ITAME with MASAME
        has JI-NIE. KO-NIE SUGU ASAKI-NOTARE BA. 
          BOSHI is SUGU to KO-MARU KAERI.
    MEI: UDA KUNIMITSU

KUNIFUSA(1) EI-TOKU (f: KUNIMITSU 2, br: KUNIMUNE): Said to have
        been student to NORISHIGE-style. There are conflicting
        theories. One: He transferred from YAMATO UDA with his
        father, KUNIMITSU(1) - making a birth date and place
        highly questionable. He, above his brother, was the 
        foundation to the development of the ETCHU UDA through
        O-EI. Known later to have used KUNIYASU as his MEI.
        CHU-KISSAKI on SHINOGI-TSUKURI, IHORI-MUNE TACHI or
        9 SUN, MU-SORI TANTO. KO-MOKUME HADA is drawn and 
        running. JI-NIE. SUGU HOTSURE BA or NIJUBA-like SUGU 
        through shallow NOTARE in NIE and falling NIOI. Also 
        KO-GUNOME CHOJI-MIDARE in NIE  with  KO-ASHI, KINSUJI
        and INAZUMA. BOSHI: Refined MIDARE with shallow KAERI.
    MEI: UDA KUNIMITSU
     Secret MEI: FUKAKUSA-TENNO

KUNISHIGE(2) O-EI (t: KUNIFUSA): Worked from O-EI to EI-KYO 1429.
          In the style of KUNIFUSA. MOKUME has standing UTSURI. 
          KO-NIE GUNOME-MIDARE within an ASAKI-NOTARE line.
    MEI: UDA KUNISHIGE

KUNIMASA(1) KYO-TOKU (t: KUNIFUSA 1): Worked from the O-EI period.
          MOKUME with MASAME. Undulating GUNOME-CHOJI BA.
    MEI: UDA KUNIMASA

KUNINARI BUN-MEI (f: KUNIMASA): Work to MEI-O 1492. KO-MOKUME
        with MASAME that stands. MURA-NIE and NIOI-DEKI GUNOME
        patterns in NOTARE like line. His sons, KUNIZANE and 
        KUNIYASU, both worked to TAI-EI 1521.
    MEI: UDA KUNINARI

HISAIYE O-EI: SUGUHA, KO-MIDARE BA and GUNOME-CHOJI MIDARE BA.
MEI: HISAIYE

KUNIHIRO O-EI (t: KUNIFUSA): KOSHICHIRO. YANASE-MURA JU. He made         TACHI and 9 SUN MU-SORI TANTO. MOKUME HADA with MASAME.         JI-NIE. Can be drawn. KO-NIE GUNOME, NOTARE KO-MIDARE         KO-GUNOME with ASHI sits in a NOTARE line.     MEI: UDA KUNIHIRO TOMOHIRO SHO-CHO (f: KUNIHIRO): MOKUME with MASAME. KO-NIE GUNOME         within NOTARE line.     MEI: UDA TOMOHIRO

Extremely deep curve - Sori: 1.25"
O-Mokume is perfectly knit, creating a Jitetsu of robust health. Intricate and strongly standing Chikei exemplifies the Hada. 
Nie Sunagashi is swept over an undulating Hamon of Nijuba and Hotsure striated figures. A lightning-storm of running Kinsuji and Inazuma arc through the Habuchi.
"Old-man's Whiskers" fall in the Boshi, Nijuba Hakikake. 

Long Suriage Nakago has three Mekugi-ana.

KUNIMUNE(1) EI-TOKU (f: KUNIMITSU 2, br: KUNIFUSA): UEMONnoJO.
        TACHI and TANTO. Often listed as son of KUNIMITSU(1), he
        and his brother are a generation away. MOKUME HADA with
        MASAME has JI-NIE. KO-NIE SUGUHA and KO-MIDARE or GUNOME-
        MIDARE on a wide undulating line. KO-MARU BOSHI. 
    MEI: UDA KUNIMUNE.

KUNIMUNE(2) O-EI: SAEMONnoJO. He made TACHI and TANTO. SAKI-ZORI
        or longish KO-KISSAKI but mostly O-EI-style (shorter,
        classic TACHI SUGATA). 9 SUN, MU-SORI TANTO. KO-ITAME
        with MASAME has JI-NIE. May show UZU-MAKI HADA. YAKIBA is
        SUGU HOTSURE BA with KINSUJI in fine NIE. KO-MARU BOSHI.
        3rd follows suit. 
    MEI: UDA KUNIMUNE

KUNITOMO HO-TOKU (t: KUNIMUNE 2): MOKUME with MASAME. Undulating
        KO-MIDARE BA.
    MEI: UDA KUNITOMO

TOMOHISA O-NIN (t: KUNITOMO): SAEMONnoJO. Undulating KO-MIDARE.
    MEI: UDA TOMOHISA SAKU

KUNIMUNE(4) BUN-MEI (f: KUNITOMO): Buddhist name: KOSHIN. 7 to 8
        SUN HIRA-TSUKURI, IHORI-MUNE UCHI-ZORI TANTO. He made 
        1 SHAKU HIRA-TSUKURI KO-WAKIZASHI with gentle FUNBARI.
        Standing ITAME with MASAME has JI-NIE. KO-NIE O-MIDARE
        HAMON which can be similar to splashing waves. HIRO-SUGU
        GUNOME-MIDARE KO-MIDARE. Known for his KURIKARA Dragon 
        and KEN HORIMONO. Work of following generations in 
        TEN-MON 1532 and TEN-SHO 1573 falls off.

KUNIHISA(1) O-EI (f: KUNIFUSA 1): UEMONZABURO. His Buddhist name         is: JOKEI. 9 SUN TANTO. Running MOKUME with MASAME.          JI-NIE and BO-UTSURI. Clear YAKIBA of KO-NIE GUNOME          within an ASAKI-NOTARE line where HOTSURE pulls from the         HABUCHI. HORI of MARISHI-TEN in well of a wide HI     MEI: UDA KUNIHISA
KUNIHISA(2) HO-TOKU: Running MOKUME with MASAME and NORISHIGE-         style UZU-MAKI HADA. NIE KO-GUNOME where FUSHI "Knots"          are seen. GUNOME-MIDARE. NIJUBA runs. HORIMONO of HI and         GOMABASHI. Four character MEI has thick strokes below the         ANA.      MEI: UDA KUNIHISA

SANEKUNI MEI-O: MOKUME has JI-NIE. YAKIBA: KO-NIE SUGU KO-MIDARE          KO-NOTARE BA. Signed below the ANA in thick strokes.     MEI: UDA SANEKUNI

KUNIYOSHI EI-KYO (f: KUNIHISA): Made TANTO. KO-MOKUME has JI-NIE.         GUNOME in ASAKI-NOTARE line.     MEI: KUNIYOSHI          UDA KUNIYSHI

SHINOGI-TSUKURI-IHORI-MUNE. 
Running ITAME-HADA has JI-NIE forming YUBASHIRI, which sweeps throughout  the JI. 
SOSHU-style NIE and NIOI-FUKASHI "Snow-Blizzard" reaches to the SHINOGI.  YUBASHIRI gives an HITATSURA effect. 
HAKIKAKE BOSHI falls down the MUNE.

KUNIKIYO(1) EI-KYO (f: KUNIHISA): MOKUME with MASAME and standing
        BO-UTSURI. KO-NIE and NIOI-DEKI SUGUHA and GUNOME HA. He
        carved simple HORIMONO figures.

KUNIZANE MEI-O (f: KUNIKIYO): Work from BUN-AN 1444. MOKUME with
        MASAME. SUGU KO-MIDARE in a NOTARE line.
    MEI: UDA KUNIZANE
SANEKUNI(4) TEN-MON (f: KUNIZANE): TOZAEMON. Buddhist name: JOIN
        Made many wide, thick blades in standing ITAME with 
        MASAME. KO-NIE GUNOME-MIDARE and HITATSURA BA. Thick
        stroked MEI is clear and readable: UDA SANEKUNI.

HIRAKUNI(1) EI-KYO (t: KUNIHISA): Worked in KA-KICHI 1441. SUGUHA
        and KO-MIDARE, SUGU KUZURE BA.

HIRAKUNI(2) MEI-O (t: KUNIKIYO): Standing MOKUME with MASAME has
        JI-NIE on "Dark" steel. TOGARI-GUNOME in a KO-NOTARE 
        line. GUNOME-MIDARE CHOJI BA.

HIRAKUNI(3) TEN-MON (t: KUNIZANE): Worked to EI-ROKU 1558. KO-NIE
        SUGUHA and KO-MIDARE BA.
