NORIFUSA TEI-O (f: YOSHIFUSA): Followed NORITAKA, SENOO KAJI          founder to BITCHU and started the KATAYAMA ICHIMONJI.          First period work will appear like his father's famous          OBUSA CHOJI-MIDARE, which became the icon of FUKUOKA         KEN-CHO ICHIMONJI BIZEN. This he brought the short          distance from FUKUOKA to KATAYAMA, BITCHU. Swords will         show strong UTSURI-MIDARE and SAKA-CHOJI BA.          Note: Definer is older style. See BITCHU KATAYAMA

The JUHO treasure sword of the SHIMAZU; whose lucky matriarch escaped the jealous MASAKO to create her house with the birth, in faraway KYUSHU, of YORITOMO's child.
The sister of YORITOMO's partner HIKI YOSHIKAZU, her baby received the name TADAHISA.
When grown, he ventured with his father to MUTSU. Named governor of SATSUMA, TADAHISA took HYUGA and OSUMI and built his HYUGA castle at SHIMAZU - which lent them its name.

His uncle, YOSHIKAZU, lost the bid for grandson, MINAMOTO ICHIMAN and burned in the crush of HOJO TOKIMASA and his ruthless daughter, the AMA-SHOGUN, MASAKO.
Sword of Hojo Tokimasa

She would have SANETOMO as SHOGUN and stamp the insistent HIKI blood from her line and her game, that third year of KEN-NIN, - 1203.
See YAMASHIRO - KYOTO for the political dance of MASAKO and the HOJO.

SHINOGI-TSUKURI, IHORI-MUNE, deeply curved KOSHIZORI, FUNBARI TACHI.
A serene KO-BIZEN style, the elongated KISSAKI  whispers its MEI: BUN-EI OSAFUNE.

MIDARE-UTSURI swims over ITAME HADA.

Tightly defined NIOI pencils a complex GUNOME-CHOJI BA through the mid where huge boulders and mishappen growths guard a crowd of silent gravestones laying peacefully below the MONOUCHI. YO provides weathering for quiet faces.
Spent figures unwind in a ripple as a short YAKIDASHI slips under an UTSURI flare.

Gently NIJU BOSHI has SUGU fencing a NOTARE undulation. An abrupt turn takes a medium fall.

UBU KURI-JIRI NAKAGO has three MEKUGI-ANA and is signed on the SHINOGI.

         TACHI OMOTE:
                          Thick strokes:  SANETOSHI TSUKURU
                      URA:      BIZEN-no-KUNI OSAFUNE

This piece confirms, for scholarship, the career of the 2nd SANETOSHI.
