Sword has strong thickness. Good definition of Hori. 
The sword tang extends through most of the Tsuka. The Kiri-Jiri Nakago cuts straight through a lower, and possibly original, Mekugi-Ana peg-hole at the bottom. 

Presently over 11" in blade-length, it was at least 131/2".
It is obvious that this sword was a Sunnobi-zukuri. This Sugata form was popular in the Oei 1394 time-period. Thin Ko-Midare Ba.
