Collector's Rule: A Shinogi-Tsukuri, Sengoku-era sword between 21" to 26" or longer is a Katateuchi, long-sword. A one-handed Nakago is a definer.
(Hira-tsukuri of 13" to 17" were the Wakizashi of the day)
Katateuchi are considered Long Swords in both appraisal and value; - they are not Wakizashi
